Introduction to ARE

Australian Research Environment (ARE) is a capability launched by NCI to deliver an easy to use, web-based graphical interface to NCI’s Gadi HPC and Nirin Cloud environments.

Course Information

Australian Research Environment (ARE) provides an easy to use Web-based frontend to the NCI Gadi supercomputer allowing NCI users to rapidly use Gadi without needing to perform additional software installation.

ARE supports both text and graphical applications and NCI are progressively adding new applications
into the environment.

Introduction to ARE is designed for any NCI user.

Prerequisites

Access to ARE is available to anyone with an NCI account and SU allocation.
